Mr. Diesen gives a thorough, wide-ranging, and historically based analysis of the geopolitical situation. He articulates all of this into well organized answers that enable a realistic understanding of the dynamics, presented unpretentiously but with concern. If only Glenn were doing the negotiating for the Collective West, we might see progress toward peace and saving lives!

Trump as "RE deal" politician is an apt description.

A hidden benefit is that if he sees things failing or not worth or too risky, he will withdraw in a blink. Of course, a political side of him may not allow him to just walk away from "bad deal" but at least he can see some reality from inside of his magic world. Something which cannot be said for career politicians.

It is not as depressing as in case with Biden and his predecessors

Even though Trump is diplomatic and seemingly peace-seeking in contrast to he Biden/EU,Russia can not trust Trump or anyone for that sake. Like through the Cold War, the Soviet Union - and now Russia stands alone.
