- Correct. As long as NATO doesn't acknowledge to themselves that the russian attack was provoked by NATO there can't be any progress towards a lasting peace.

Who is "NATO" when we speak about Ukraine?

Is "NATO" the US government and the governments of its "allies" in Europe?

Or is this "NATO" really the neocon spooks + their assets in various countries including Ukraine, Brussels and different European capitals:

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/25/world/europe/cia-ukraine-intelligence-russia-war.html

https://www.rand.org/pubs/research_briefs/RB10014.html

Its a question you should ask when it appears that "NATO" and the US President are seemingly on opposite agendas.

Similarly, I actually see very few people across Europea actually asking for their children to have few teachers, for hospitals to be closed and for their roads and power companies and water supply to be sold to Goldman Sachs and Blackstone, and fees charged to citizens......so that more money can be sent to make high tech equipment that get vaporised on the battlefield in Ukraine....

You are correct that "NATO" appears to be psychopathic and unable to acknowledge fault or correct a wrong course. But its therefore you really should ask, WHO is this "NATO" that can be so arrogrant to expect to command unlimited resoruces and never to be called to account for bad actions that kill hundreds of thousands of people.

Because it appears "NATO" is really just a front for a sliver of the US and global oligarchy, that is now fracturing across national borders.

Because it appears that "NATO" a rogue organization that isnt actually aiming to uphold the best intererests of the people or countries that are supposedly its member organizations. Not even the USA.

Not just acknowledge but abandon, be tested and proves it abandoned intentions to provoke.... so in about 50yrs from now we just may begin to trust the professed.

If Putin agrees to anything less, he's just deferring a larger war in very short terms

Prof. De Zayas is extraordinary. It was a great interview. Among other themes he focused on the mediocrity of western políticians. He's so right! Yesterday Macron's speech is a good exemple of how low they have fallen. God help us all!

Of course the EU leaders know that the Russian attack was provoked, concretely by the CIA-Neo-nazi coup i 2014 under Obama/Clinton.

But they have no moral-political integrity, and can easily, together with their media, manipulate their ignorant population to support the neo- nazi coup plotters in Kiev.

Can it end up with an alliance between the US and Russia against Ukraine- EU neo-nazism, just like the US and the Soviet Union fought nazism during World War ll?

Even those who vote for Trump are hoping Trump can retain some hard-line against Ruskies. Cannot undo 70yrs of brainwashing in one 4yr presidency. Trump wants EuroUtopia as a serf, but that is "a US serf". Will not share it with anyone particularly not with Ruskies (unless he can trade it for something more shiny and goldplated).

I don't think many academics really understand the story of the Emperor's New Clothes. They keep talking about how poorly dressed the political elite in Europe are, how worn out their threads, how soleless their shoes, how the colours clash in eye-watering fashion.

No, they're completely naked.

Naked ambition, naked aggression, naked power.

The iron fist has shed the velvet glove and the ugly reality of raw power is revealed.

Sorry to say that art and literature can't save us. They've totally compromised by the system and by money. Like the media, they need to reinvent themselves.
