Trump changes his position often. That is confusing. But otherwise another number of experts would say that Trump doesn't listen. Moreover, NATO is in fact the US plus some others. NATO without US is nothing. Hence, NATO's crisis is US crisis. Big brother can't hide behind little brothers.
Trump1 facilitated the Ukraine war too. Trump1 foolishly ended INF. Therefore, Biden's and Trump's signature are on that war. Obama's signature is on it as well. Even Bill Clinton's signature visible.
Note too that NATO on the border includes Finland > 2023. So, no peace in Ukraine because of NATO at Russian border. But yes under conditions peace with Ukrain *despite* NATO in Finland. That's quite illogical isn't it?
Well, I can only say that I hope so. Trumps behaviour towards Gaza is not exactly supporting the notion that he's fighting the deep state and the donors to his election. But let's be optimistic about his attempt in Alaska. That's a step forward. A step that Biden cs wouldn't take. Still, I eould like to recall that Trump1 armed Ukraine and ended INF.
For me the Gaza war is on a completely different footing as its now the extreme Islamist ideology has found a way to penetrate western societies.
Worse still.... its created long term objectives by penetrating educational systems and breeding a dogme into the future, which is far removed from our democratic values.
ABSOLUTE BALONEY, your view reeks of the intellectual funk of a full-blown Zionist zealot. ("For me...") indeed! Western "societies" need no help in deconstructing their institutions. "We have met the enemy, and he is us." - Pogo
That's true. But note, before ww2, Finland and the Soviet Union fought a bitter fight at Finlands borders. And note also that the US Breshinsky's doctrine was to break Russia. Geography was not his point. It's easy (given the US has weapons) to populate Finlands border with missiles similar to in Ukraine. Yes there are differences. But when considering false NATO treaty behaviour (think Minsk, think Istanbul 2022, think Breshinsky's doctrine) Finland is as good as Georgia or Ukraine.
Russia is right. But the narrative "it's all NATO" must be replaced by " it's all US with vasals".
Good interview, always nice to hear Col Wilkerson's insights and anecdotes.
Trump is all over the place. But the recent negotiations show no signs of anything substantive. Parties not yet ready.
Moscow wants security, neutral Ukraine, and Donetsk - but the lines on the map and exhaustion of Ukraine's fighting will are not there yet.
Washington wants to prolong hegemony, but recent events actually highlight the decline. Washington also most probably wants cover to go at Iran some more, but is unable to make a credible offer to Russia (or China for that matter) due to blowing whatever trustworthiness the US once had. Consolation prize is "keeping Russia busy" and squeezing concessions out of EU which are both happening.
Zelensky wants more assistance from NATO in whatever form he can get it. Emergency-powers are a money maker, and the Western media keeps feeding any nationalist ego that may be in the mix in Kiev's government.
Euro leaders want ... something unclear. Perhaps to maintain their dignity, perhaps to just run down the clock on Trump's term. They appear to be doing a performative act for which they were rewarded during the Biden administration, but are now punished for with declining geopolitical power and prestige, not to mention the ire of their constituents. US and China both eating their lunch most rapidly.
Ukraine's future well being is unrepresented, as is tragically often the fate of cold war proxies.
If and when Netanyahu makes his move on Iran, it will be interesting how Russia and China respond.

I truly believe that Trump is trying to correct this US deep-state globalists agenda.
Rather,..... freeing countries to make their own marketing decisions, individually. Based on economic conditions in equal benefits deals.
Of course Trump will ensure that USA will also benefit from all new deals.
USA was spending too much money in ensnaring Countries in deals they couldn't refuse in exchange for power assistance. ( BIG Brother style)

So easy to lie....
Anthony Aguilar "was a "disgruntled former contractor who was terminated for misconduct", which he denies.
Find out what the investigations pulled up.
Except that Finland has behaved honorably and never provoked Russian Ire.
Finland is an example of enabling diplomatic, intelligent peaceful relations.
It's possible!

I thought it was hugely stupid of Finland, traditionally neutral in recent times, to go and join NATO.

The picture discussed is LARGE👏👏🤗
These two could run the world with common sense!
Thank you Mr. Diesen for initiating these clarifying discussions🙏
