The end of NATO can't come a day too soon! I'll definitely be cheering that!

Maybe then the world will get a chance to take a breather without the threat of violence dressed as 'democracy and freedom'. Here's hoping!

Hmmm... MacGregor seems to be saying two, mutually exclusive things; on the one hand, he blames Zelensky for impeding, sabotaging the talks between the US and Russia, averring that Trump (is it only Trump?) wants to do a 'deal' and that Trump could (but apparently he isn't) pull the plug on the Europeans, who are intent on keeping the war going but on the other hand, MacGregor completely avoids the fact that it was the US who started the whole thing in the first place! The NYT 'revelations' show clearly that without the total involvement of the US war machine, that's intelligence, satellites, people on the ground, targetting et al, and of course, the weapons, Zelensky could never have invaded the East in the first place, the event that triggered the Russian intervention, the so-called Special Military Operation.

What annoys me is that this entire interview was pretty much a sham, because it didn't deal with the core issues that created the situation in the first place. What we got was a lot of hot air and all of it, dealing with events, AFTER THE FACT! It was a kind of sleight of hand, as it tried to present Trump as some kind of deal maker, brought in to clear up a mess made by somebody else, when in fact Trump, along with the rest of the US warmongers are responsible for initiating events going back to at least 2004 and in reality, 1945 with USUK support of the fascist Banderites.
