I don't think that the Trump loyalists, Vance, Hegseth , Rubio, etc. , - of course Biden and all leaders are surrounded with loyalists, - will or can continue Trump draining the sump. And we will back to the old warmongering US- EU world (dis)order alliance escalating the world towards nuclear war with Russia, etc. Not funny to consider that relatively world peace may dependent of Trump.
Excellent discussion. Pavel's question of nation states being used as weapons by external forces is worthy of extensive discussion. It's an old and universal problem, with 1) smaller nations and nation states, and 2) those on "the periphery" often being used by and wanting to be used by other nations. How does or how can the internation order, and IR theory, deal with this besides abstracting away?
