Dear Prof. Diesen, thanks a lot for your valuable interviews. I appreciate them highly.

I’m trying to write a (new) article on the Ukrainian situation - and wondered how to start this… because politicians and media brainwashed us for more than 3 years now (speaking of the Ukrainian situation).

How to reach the minds and especially the hearts of people that have been filled with hate against (in this case) the Russian people?

I just wrote my motivation first: I’m very grateful for my life (retired social worker/politician/writer), therefore life itself ‘obliges me to write’. For Justice, humanity, for inner peace.

But I don’t write without fact-finding, and checking them twice, three times, or even more, if necessary… And your interviews are important for my research.

So I was very happy that your today’s topic is about media manipulation (next to political manipulation..) Thank you for that. I hope it opens readers’ minds and hearts. And please, do go on! May God bless you.

To both gentlemen, hang in there and please don't give up, don't let them get to you. For 50+ years I have admired the tenacity and hard work of Noam Chomsky, George Orwell, James Baldwin, Chris Hedges and others. I believe there are new thinkers, writers, and speakers being made in these difficult times. Writers that will be read more as time goes on. Diesen is one of them. I recently hunted down two of Chas Freeman's books and am anxious to read those as well.
