Bombing Yemen is only of value to help Israel continue genocide and attack Iran.
Israel is a US-backed entity entirely. An Israeli attack on Iran would be in alliance with the US, using US plane and missiles and US missile defences.
Iran supplies Russia with some essential military equipment. No way Russia can afford to let Iran get broken like Syria.
So that puts the US and Israel at war with Russia.
THAT is what is at stake when the Trump has the US proceeding with new attacks on Yemen. It’s not only irresponsible in a genocide by Israel, it’s reopening a pitch to begin WW III
So much for the much-sppread lie that Trump is a peacemaker.
It's now pretty obvious this administration is just as captured by AIPAC and the military-industrial complex as the rest of them have been. Under Trump and Biden, the deficit went up about $15 trillion in 8 years. They're not going to escape stagflation without significant cuts in government spending and taxes, period.
I don't think Trump's economic adwisers are very good, and obviously, the Federal Reserve was wrong about the Great Recession, and they're wrong now. They don't seem to understand how bifocated our economy is between the haves and have-nots, and the bureaucracy, and the civilian population. Much of the inflation has been going into the financial markets, with many stocks ridiculously overvalued while precious metal prices soar around the world.
They don't seem to understand or really believe how our foreign policy is causing the de-dollarization, with the Eurodollars has started to come back into the domestic financial markets as bank lending slows, which will eventually reverse the declining M2. There's not going to be a peace deal until Netanyahu and his cronies are out of power and AIPAC and those like Victoria Nuland back down on Ukraine, period. Trump is obviously being fed a bunch of nonsense that if we don't stop Russia, Iran, and the Pallestinian resistance, America will continue to lose its dominance as a military power and reserve currency. Financial and economic power is how you become powerful as the military might of the world becomes more spread out. Hypersonic missiles and drones have changed everything. It's pretty hard to take over a country now and keep it. Destabilizing nations and displacing people are no longer good social or military strategies in a world that is now so communicatively open i.e. they can't lie to us as much.
DJT would have done a lot better to listen to Steve Bannon. Mr. Bannon is not completely or always right. While he is vigilant against Chinese Communist infiltration, his lack of Chinese language ability prevented him from grasping the internal situation of China better. However, Mr. Bannon (and many others) had it right for the Ukraine business: Just drop it rather than take it over. I don't think DJT is that dumb to not understand that. The truth is likely that the deep state is far more powerful than we ordinary folks can imagine. Similar situations have been known throughout Chinese history and reflected in dramas: even the emperors in a supposedly authoritarian dynasty don't have much arbitration power. The only way to curb the deep state is to reduce the size of the central government. In emerging economies, a strong central economy is a must to build up infrastructures and maintain national unity. But in developed economies, a strong central government becomes a hindrance.
Anyone who keeps raining sour “Chinese Communist…..bla bla..” has no clue. Or is attempting to use old tropes to trigger hatred.
China are the world’s best at playing the “capitalist” game. . And they are labelled a “threat” by the US jingoistic purely because they are beating the US at whet I claims is its own game!
But capitalism has its limits and its harms.
And anyone wise who claims to be interested in the future of the US would be less focused on vilifying the “CCP” and more focused on transitioning to new forms of social and economic organisation that aren’t £&€$ing on the planet and its people. Because that old game can’t go on forever.
In short Bannon is a charlatan. And a hateful evil man who has no place leading public discourse in any decent society .
Don't know what to say. The only way you can be convinced is for you to relocate to China and make a living in China (not retiring there.) In any case, feel free to believe what you believe and the sun will still rise tomorrow.
China today is far from a true capitalist model because to grow your business you have to cooperate with the government. Chinese economic development since 1949 has been through similar cycles a couple of times. Certainly, China's economy and society will not go back to the Culture Revolution and People's Commune era. But that does not mean the current economy in China has much of fair competition or entrepreneurial spirit. Surely everybody likes to make money. But there are a few specific hassles one has to get through in China to run a business, let alone to grow a business.
"China today is far from a true capitalist model because to grow your business you have to cooperate with the government...."
Silly me - I thought all the lobbying and political donations money spent in America was charity, because businesses could write it off their taxes. 4.4 billion dollars in 2024 alone:
So is China. The version in the US is to buy out government officials by the capitalists. The version in China is government officials asking for that bribe. The Chinese special is government can somewhat arbitrarily to strike on certain sectors of the economy (usually for some reasons but not always good or convincing). The kind of deals MBS extracted by locking princes in the Ritz Hotel happens all the time in China.
A very interesting interview. These guys are more interesting when they retire! BTW, apart from a side comment at the end, one would think that Russia is the good guy in all this. Hearing that one of Russia's red lines is new elections in Ukraine (presumably to shaft Zelensky after gifting him a rotten peace deal) comes across as almost laughable. Political opponents disappear (with extreme prejudice) in Russia if they achieve any type of traction with teh public.
I don’t know if I’ve been a victim of the Gremlins or the Kremlins but I posted the following (possibly not word for word) yesterday and it seems to have disappeared:
Varadker had a major loss in a stupid referendum shortly before the general election and evasive measures were taken to limit the damage, replacing him with Simon Harris, who was even more vocal on Palestine, so please keep your conspiritial suppositions to one side and address the subject at hand.
The SMO may be winding down and the MIC needs to keep their $50 billion money machine going.

The US is an Israel-controlled entity almost entirely, at least for the political machinery.
Yes it seems totally rational to talk peace in Ukraine but to wage war in Yemen because they are in bed with Israel. Not even voluntary.
Something is wrong all along and we all know what the problem is:
The Uniparty and The Israel lobby.

Indeed, what the US has mastered is CRONY capitalism.
So is China. The version in the US is to buy out government officials by the capitalists. The version in China is government officials asking for that bribe. The Chinese special is government can somewhat arbitrarily to strike on certain sectors of the economy (usually for some reasons but not always good or convincing). China is beating the US at its own game. Mainly because the US for many decades now just tries to reap but does not sow anything:

So spare us the diversions about “communism”.
And Bannon is hateful fascist lowlife. Not interested in a word he has to say.
My feeling is that Vance is already running for POTUS fake peace candidate, 2028.

"Political opponents disappear (with extreme prejudice) in Russia"
What, like Leo Varadkar disappeared, a few days after publicly sticking up for the Palestinians while on an official trip to see Joe Biden?
The Taoiseach gets regimechanged and Ireland looks the other way.

Silence from global media too.
Leo was regimechanged by Biden for sticking up for the Palestinians in public.
It's blindingly obvious just from the timings of it.
He should come out (not a 'coming out' joke) and say so.
The subject at hand is politicians being disappeared, is it not? Whether in Russia or Ireland or anywhere else.
Let's do Romania then...
Fella is leading the polls, the EU shits the bed, tells the Romanians to disappear the fella, he gets arrested, fitted up, removed from the elections.
That do yer?
