Just ridiculous. In my opinion the definite prove what rule of law or in other words rules based Order really means. Literally the symbol of it

Some time last year I was speaking to someone who was railing about Trump's criminality (not sure I see this) and I noted the Biden' family's corruption. As someone who believes they are well informed, they said they had never heard of it or the links to Burisma and the wider Ukraine issues. I see now that the MSM are beginning to discuss it, but not much. But really we have a post-truth society now, where most people seem content to beieve whatever narrative they are spun. There are a lot of die hard democrats now who will simply memory hole this, but a lot more people who won't.

Of course now he cannot be punished, Hunter can be forced to testify and give evidence (so I believe) and cannot plead the 5th. Of course he has the Comey defence at his disposal - "I don't recall". So FJB is not off the hook yet though I suggest he will pardon himself before his term is out. And he will never see the inside of a court room, still less a cell.

Truly the USA is resembling a banana plantation with nukes more and more.

Years ago, I believed, as you do, that "most people seem content to believe whatever narrative they are spun." But now that I am retired, and have (much!) more time to investigate such stuff, I have changed my beliefs about a number of things. Along with this, for a couple of reasons I have become a bit more forgiving of the uninformed

Firstly, many people are too busy just trying to keep their heads above water and living their lives to put in the time it takes to sort out truth from falsehood.

Also, censorship has gone into high gear the last few years, and in many cases, has made truth much more obscure and hard to find.

I never thought I'd have to become my own doctor, my own nutritionist, my own financial advisor, and my own journalist.

It's become almost a cliche, but if someone says "That's a conspiracy theory!" - usually echoing some talking head - there's nearly ALWAYS something behind it, and it's worth looking deeper.

The annoying truth about all that hard work is, even when you discover the reality behind the curtain, there's nearly always nothing we can do about it anyway, except get called "Conspiracy theorists" ourselves for trying to educate other people.

Still, what else do we do with our lives, except try to bring Reality into view?

What no one will report is that it is very easy to prosecute Hunter under a State Statute. The President can only pardon for federal crimes. Any State including Delaware, where Hunter lived during the firearm incident could press State charges and Hunter being the cowardly, crybaby would flip on his Father to avoid jail time in a State Penitentiary. "They" won't do it, because the entire system is broken. Politicians are now free to commit any crime, while a citizen now has even more IRS and law enforcement looking at every detail of our lives.

There's no way Hunter will "flip", all those $100s of billions didn't just go his daddy, and his lifespan would be shortened dramatically (Shame!) if he even looked like he would blab.

States do not have jurisdiction over federal statures. Foreign corruption is is not a local state crime.

Delaware is a global corporate tax avoidance haven, so no Delaware is not going to prosecute any high profile individual for tax and uncover money trails.

And the gun charge is completely not the point. What he has done is corruption on a grand scale with global implicaitons that put the lives of everyone on the entire planet at risk.

Exactly That’s the truth The hole Biden family are corrupt criminals And both FBI and all MSM are involved and support them. The hole 2020 election was fraud and Trump won. If Biden didn’t pardon Hunter his own fraud and criminal activities would have been exposed And so would Clinton’s and Obama’s They are all deeply involved in the deep state and belongs in prison

While the Ukraine activity has got some attention (Burisma etc.) Biden Inc. operated globally.

Glenn has given a link to Comer’s summary of Devon Archer’s testimony regarding (mainly) Ukraine. The full transcript { https://oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Devon-Archer-Transcript.pdf } is more compelling that the short summary.

Likewise, Biden Inc’s activities in China outlined in a newspaper article { https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/1367665/leaked-files-show-years-of-hunter-bidens-business-dealings/ } were the subject of Congressional investigation. The committee produced a summary { https://oversight.house.gov/blog/key-excerpts-from-tony-bobulinskis-transcribed-interview/ } , while the full transcript { https://oversight.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Bobulinski-Transcript.pdf }is here.

Thus there exists abundant, detailed material on a matter one would have imagined to be both of importance and interest, yet journalists from main stream media have largely carefully avoided “the exposé” !

Odd ? Not really, bury rather than expose is that section of the profession’s function when it comes to assisting the US interests.

Hunter’s initial salary was 1 million a year, not 50k a month. But even 50k is way too much for a recent law school graduate.

A part time.......board memmbership......for one million dollars a year. With no relevant experience educationally or professionally. And not speaking the language either.

How could THAT not trigger a government investigation right away at the time?

Does the US government not care whether government officials, one holding top secret clearance and even power in the nuclear chain of command, are compromized.

What’s crazy is most decently run major companies that are listed on the stock market would not allow any such conflict of interest. Because shareholders would sue. But the US govt? No problem.

The information above about Biden’s role in his son’s work for Burisma is not correct, It was exhaustively investigated by James Comer the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and he found nothing to prosecute. And Victor Shokin was pressured to resign in response to pressure from many Western entities on account of he was not investigating Burisma and other companies which the West believed were corrupt. The prosecutor who followed him finally opened an investigation into Burisma. I urge you to read the Wkipedia accounts on Victor Shokin and on James Comer. Biden made an unwise choice when he said that he would not pardon his son. He should have qualified the statement to the effect that if unforseen circumstances rendered it necessary then he would reconsider yada yada … Please read Heather Cox Richardson’s Substack from yesterday and the account she links to in her references by a man who has followed Kash Patel closely for the last four years and highlights the campaign of persecution that Patel plans for Hunter Biden, whom Patel is obsessed with. Joe Biden had no choice but to pardon Hunter for the entire interval since he joined the Burisma Board, which everyone concedes was a foolish decision and ethically questionable but not illegal. As far as Biden’s legacy goes, he already is carrying the burden of knowing that the catastrophic war between Russia and Ukraine is all on him. And the two reasons that Biden lost the election, namely inflation and the herds of peope coming illegally across the southern border, are indeed partly his fault. In light of all this, to break a small promise does not loom very large compared to Trump’s “transvaluation of all values.”

Wikipedia is not an unbiased entity. For instance, in their entry on Glenn Diesen, they call him a "Russian propagandist". Be very careful in citing Wikipedia because they toe the government line regarding independent journalism.

The US is a terminally corrupt cesspool. Its one thing when then is causing rampant exploitation of the US poppulaiton, health problems, inequality etc. But when that corruptiuon is leading to WW III its an entirely different level of problem. Not their problem is all of our problem - and it needs to be cleaned up.
