Hello M. Diesen, a couple of points regarding this interesting interview with Mr. Nekrasov:

1. an excellent book about Bowder is Alex Krainer's book (censored) : Grand Deception: The Browder Hoax . It tells the whole story of Browder in Russia.

2: Alexander talked about Pontecorvo's "La Bataille d'Alger" ; it was not censored officially, but it was not shown almost at all! It was simply impossible to see it, and we can all understand orders from above had been given to this effect. Some info here (French):

Alice down the rabbit hole:

"In 2023, the United States took significant action under the Global Magnitsky sanctions program (“Global Magnitsky”), sanctioning 78 foreign persons over the course of the year. As of December 2023, the United States has sanctioned over 650 foreign persons (individuals and entities) pursuant to E.O. 13818 since 2017. This sanctions program, which targets those connected to serious human rights abuse, corrupt actors, and their enablers, represents the best of the United States' values and enduring commitment to promoting respect for human rights and combatting corruption around the world. Through Global Magnitsky, the United States has sought to disrupt and deter serious human rights abuse and corruption abroad; promote accountability for those who act with impunity; and maintain U.S. global leadership on anti-corruption and human rights promotion in coordination with U.S. partners, allies, and civil society where appropriate. The Administration can and will continue to utilize this tool to promote respect for human rights and the rule of law globally."

Is the assumption correct that sanctions are illegal outside those under UN auspices? If so, shouldn't 'illegal sanction,' appropriately applied, exceed the popularity of 'unprovoked invasion,' almost inevitably used?

Legacy broadcasters have abandoned the purpose of journalism. They now pay the price of lost credibility and audience. As for career conman Browder few believe in him now that are not themselves party to corruption. The Magnitsky myth is transparently fraudulent. Kudos to Andrei Nekrasov, Torstein Grude Ruwê Yuxinawá & team for piercing that veil with timeless cinematic truth-telling.

- I also heard that there was something "fishy" about the Magnitsky act. Don't know all the details.
