I find the term 'narrative' to be too mild, as though one is reading a bedtime story to an impressionable child. A better term would be 'organized criminal deception' which applies not only to the Ukraine calamity but to the entire post-WWII policy of the US vis-a-vis the Soviet Union / Russia. ORGANIZED CRIME is what the Collective West has engaged in through multiple agencies such as NATO, CIA, MI6 and a panoply of NGOs. These criminals need to be called out for the murderous actions that show what their true nature is, and the media whores that spew their lies should be convicted as accomplices in crimes against humanity. The overriding question is how can the human species evolve toward justice rather than constantly sinking into cycles of violence and destruction, and is "democracy" as it is practiced the proper structure to bring that about?
Russia has been targeting NATO Command and Control advisors from the beginning, as well it should; in 2023 or early 2024, a major CC bunker west of Kiev was targeted killing numerous high ranking NATO officers; in 2024 Russia targeted CC on the Ukraine border with Lithuania killing Swedish advisors. These NATO personnel have no protection status without formal War declaration. They are, spies, terrorists, or pirates; they can be killed with impunity. They have no business there.
NATO was founded by Hitler's right-hand man Adolf Heusinger. It's all about keeping Russian competition from doing business with Europe and the rest of the World.
Some prominent Western politicians and influential figures in 1940 who believed that a peace deal with Nazi Germany might be necessary or even desirable, especially after the dramatic German victories in Western Europe, including the fall of France in June 1940.
Lord Halifax, the British Foreign Secretary and a key figure in the Conservative government, was one of those who believed Britain might have to consider negotiating with Hitler. He was not necessarily pro-Nazi, but he thought it might be pragmatic to avoid total destruction by making a deal.
Neville Chamberlain, the former Prime Minister, also leaned toward exploring peace if the situation worsened, though his stance became more supportive of continued resistance once Churchill took power.
After Germany invaded in May 1940, France collapsed quickly. By June, Marshal Philippe Pétain (who would lead the Vichy regime) argued that the war was lost and pushed for an armistice, which was signed on June 22, 1940.
Some American isolationists, including influential figures like America First figure Charles Lindbergh, expressed the view that Britain could not win and should negotiate.
Lindbergh was a leading voice in the America First Committee (AFC), a powerful isolationist movement formed in 1940 to oppose U.S. entry into the war.
He believed that:
America should stay out of foreign wars, particularly in Europe.
The U.S. military was unprepared for war.
Engaging in war would weaken the country and risk unnecessary loss.
He argued that the U.S. should focus on building its defenses and remain neutral, especially because he believed that Germany was militarily dominant and the UK could not win.
Lindbergh visited Germany several times in the 1930s, was impressed by the Luftwaffe (the German air force), and even accepted a medal from Hermann Göring in 1938—the Service Cross of the German Eagle, awarded by the Nazi government. This led to accusations that he was sympathetic to the Nazi regime.
While Lindbergh denied supporting Hitler, he did:
Praise German technological and military advancements.
Downplay or ignore Nazi atrocities in public comments (especially before the Holocaust became widely known).
Emphasize the threat of communism over fascism, aligning with some right-wing figures who saw the USSR as the bigger danger.
On September 11, 1941, Lindbergh gave a speech in Des Moines, Iowa, that caused national outrage. He said that:
“The three most important groups who have been pressing this country toward war are the British, the Jewish, and the Roosevelt Administration.”
Winston Churchill, who became Prime Minister on May 10, 1940, firmly rejected the idea of a peace deal. He famously declared that Britain would “never surrender” and rallied the nation to continue the fight, even if it meant doing so alone.
Putin is the new Hitler and Trump is like Lindbergh thinking we can’t defeat Adolf Putin. It will be a bloody war but we will prevail and defeat Russian Nazism.
Glenn Diesen like to point out Ukrainians in close touch with powers in Ukraine.
But Glenn Diesen refuse to point out the Russian Nazis working for Putin. Dmitry Rogozin the deputy prime minister in Russia.
1) To my knowledge there is not a shred of evidence that RU ever contemplated use of WMDs e.g. during the fall of 2022.
That entire thread is 100% CIA PR. It was spread - as far as I know - by 2 CIA-affiliates: David Sanger in the NYT and Jim Sciutto at CNN. Their lengthy superfluous pieces offered no info on this because there was none.
Jim Sciutto - CNN
"Exclusive: US prepared ‘rigorously’ for potential Russian nuclear strike in Ukraine in late 2022, officials say "
Both published the very same day is of course not a coincidence.
Especially the Sanger piece has nothing to do with journalism. A disgrace frankly (describing his lunch with Milley?!).
However Sciutto had ONE item that in fact proved the OPPOSITE of RU´s intentions using WMDs:
This phrase buried deep in Sciutto´s article:
"(...)
“We obviously placed a high priority on tracking and had some ability at least to track such movements of its nuclear forces,” this senior administration official told me. “And at no point did we ever see any indications of types of steps that we would’ve expected them to take if they were going down a path toward using nuclear weapons.”
(...)"
That´s it.
Had they started the stories with this admission there would have been no story at all.
But why was this important?
Ever since this moment European secret intelligence services have been pushing the lies of RU planning to attack the Baltics and EU.
In Germany this was the time when SoD Pistorius came out saying that we have to prepare for 2030. So that´s what it served.
So you may not want to fall for this blatant fabrication and NATO´s "talking point".
2) One may not agree with Andrei Martyanov´s socio-political views. But his military expertise is among the best there is available to the public. I have read his books. And it is rare scholarship.
Having said that, fwiw:
Martyanov has been stating from the get-go that RU IS targetting NATO in UKR. Naturally. This is also clearly understood by NATO. Were it no so the destruction of the bunker deep underground with several hundred AFU/NATO officials killed spring of 2023 e.g. would have hit the world news. Instead it was kept secret.
Russia kills NATO in UKR. NATO kills Russians. This is the "game". And nobody speaks about it openly i.e. the West understands it. It´s the only Western casualties West is willing to take.
If the Geneva Convention didn't protect civilians there would be greater incentive to avoid war. The civilians are the enablers. When enough civilians have died, the Ukraine will sue for peace. "Kill them all and let God sort it out".
Not the first time Ukraine genocides its Russian, Jewish and Polish minorities. Western Ukraine is a mix of Polish and Lithuanian, so is their language. Ukraine cuddled up to the German Nazies during the Second World War, only to realize they were bloodthirsty, racist thugs and cofounded the Soviet Union with the Russians. After 70 years of hard work, progress and peace, the Ukrainian elite fled to more prosperous countries and left the country to a clown and Banderas Neonazis.

Well said.

Lithuania does not have a border with the Ukraine, only with Belarus, Poland, Russia and Latvia.

Thank you very much Glenn and Aaron, great stuff.

Don't be too quick. The criminals didn't give up in Syria!
