1. A dinner by a King dressed in a full metal jacket. Sitting next to him, Zelenski (OMG) 2. Europe cannot afford that 2 to 5% poker game rule. Europe should: a. dismantle the EU and downsize NATO, and 3. Europe should become a neutral group of REPUBLICS like Switzerland. And let the Brits figure it out. feel free to share ( FF2S )

Trump, in his total disregard for international law and diplomacy, has inflicted untold harm on the credibility of the USA. With the support of his sycophantic collaborators, led by Mark Rutte the secretary general of NATO, Trump has simply proven that he is a gangster and a Netanyahu’s arse-licking henchman. No one should ever again trust a single word from this perfidious buffoon.

Europe comprises large number of countries that have a history of settler colonialism, genocide and looting. That is why they support Israel's genocidal project

Also they are alll still self deluding.

https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/nato-leaders-set-back-trump-defence-spending-goal-hague-summit-2025-06-24/

"...The 32 allies' brief communique added: "We reaffirm our ironclad commitment to collective defence as enshrined in Article 5 of the Washington Treaty – that an attack on one is an attack on all."

Asked to clarify his own stance on Article 5 after recent ambiguous comments, Trump said: "I stand with it. That's why I'm here. If I didn't stand with it, I wouldn't be here."..."

But the much mentioned Article 5 is actually also very clear...in being completely vague as to what RESPONSE the signatories can offer in response to such attack: it does not mandate everyone lining up their armies.

So we are now in a world where even military representatives lie about military treaties, for public display.

But when push comes to shove "Article 5" is a wide open loophole. Each signatory deems for....itself what it deems a necessar assistance, and it may...... or may not include admed force.

https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/official_texts_17120.htm

"...The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.

Any such armed attack and all measures taken as a result thereof shall immediately be reported to the Security Council. Such measures shall be terminated when the Security Council has taken the measures necessary to restore and maintain international peace and security..."

I think you skipped over the real reasons the European mis-leaders ares supporting the Israeli spree of mass murder and attacking its neigbours.

You suggest its maiinly aimlessness and following the US lead.

But in reality we have seen over the last decade the rise of some virulent islamaphobia among Europeans and its leaders. They have increasiingly been on board with an extensive NATO agenda over the past 20 years:

https://www.brown.edu/news/2021-09-01/costsofwar

Note that the above amounts to a deep engagement with helping Israel to attack its muslim neighbours.

Most of off the German PM Merz a few days a go flat out commended the genocidal regime in Israel for doing the "dirty work" by attacking the few nations in the world that are standing up to ot:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/international-relations/israel-claims-killing-of-iranian-revolutionary-guard-general/ar-AA1GQKpA

The genocidal nation of Israel was deeply welcomed by European leaders at the recent Eorovision cultural event, and Israel isnt even in Europe. It's main business in Europe is at the Hague where it and its leaders are wanted to crimes they are accused of. What is the message there by welcoming a war criminal nation deep in an ongoing genocide? We going to claim the US forced us?

Sorry but that there isnt just innocently following along the US lead. Its a long track record of deep complicity and engagement on a common agenda..
