The EU monkeys have climbed so far up the moral narcissist tree that they don't know how to get back down without falling and killing themselves on their holy narratives and ideological slogans.
Just like the Israeli genocide in Palestine has unmasked most "progressive liberals" in the US populace as racist and reactionary people who see palestinian lives are worthless....so too this proxy war in Ukraine has umasked many centrists/"center-right"/"center left" people in EUrope as reactionary and racists.They hate Russians because....they are Russian. And they see Ukrainains as slaves/slavs: "untermenschen" who are fit to die serving European interests, and not worth anything at all.
The problem is not the replacement of strategic thinking with ideological slogans.
The problem is that the people who're supposed to be doing the strategic thinking seem to be irrationally intellectually wedded to the ideological slogans till death do them part. They've forgotten - if they ever knew - that ideological slogans are merely tools by which one persuades the voters to cooperate with the strategic thinking outputs, i.e. policies.

Thank you, Glenn! Very informative. Her admission that she will not see the change back to old Europe is very depressing. I do hope that the first
part of that claim — that Europe will recover from this neoliberal, bureaucratic nightmare — will come to pass.
