Mr Diesen, the title of your article says it all. All history, economic theory and studies of human interaction and conflict point to the fact that there is always a way out. And it almost passe to suggest that the more the USA (and its "allies") try to box in their percieved rivals, the greater the incentive to circumvent the existing system. Self defeating. As someone who lives in the West and who would like to see it prosper, I simply see idiots who think in one or two dimensions, and who have no sense of history or logic, destroying what they are trying to preserve.
Gold is not a yield generating asset, as gold does not create inflation, but the price of gold increase as a result of inflation. The difference is unlike real estate gold is not used to disguise inflation with the price rises but as a hedge against inflation to protect value through being a store of wealth.
The ruling class KNOW without any doubt that all wars end with the parties to the conflict talking to each other.
Even in the ruins of Berlin or on a US Navy warship off the coast of Japan, the formalities of total surrender require dialogue.
So when you recall Orwell's noting that the war isn't meant to be won, it's meant to be permanent, you understand the insistence that anyone talking to the enemy is a traitor. Not to the people our rulers nominally represent, nor to their interests, but a traitor to the intentions of the warmongers, whose ambitions will fail if the war ends in a peaceable manner that respects the legitimate interests of all parties. As far as they are concerned, only their interests matter.
If stealing the enemy's assets will provoke them to prolong the military gravy train then from their perspective it's a good deal. As usual, they will not pay the costs of their provocations, they never do. Rich men start wars, poor men fight and die in them.
“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”
– William J. Casey, CIA Director (1981)
When I ran for mayor of SF killafornia against Gruesome Gavin Gruesome Newsom in 2007, ScKamala Harris put me in jail, into solitary isolation.
She shut down my Grasshopper taxi business forevermore. That was my gold they stole.
They wanted me to die.
They still do.
Lawfare, war, theft, propaganda, they use it All against the weak poor like me.
Now they won't even give my housemate food stamps since they need that money for Ukraine and isra Hell .
Gruesome Gavin Gruesome Newsom child killer had a motto then. He said, sic, Care not cash. Neither....
