Indeed - and it is not just Russian grain but Russian natural gas converted to fertilizer - both in Russia and China - which will add to displacement.

Frank Herbert warns dramatically against attempts to 'total control', not only does the illusion leave the desirers vulnerable to unexpected events, but the universal reality will just go around them with the necessary changes.

This is also the message from Philip K Dick.

Glenn, have you and the Durans considered the possibility the Western fascist mercenaries (And shooters of Ukrainian conscripted civilian retreaters), were sent to Kursk to remove them? It would be very embarrasing were they to be captured during the fall of Ukraine and paraded on liberated Ukrainian TV along with their documented crimes against the Ukrainian populations. For the US and the other Western authoritarian regimes.

There's no way little green man is capable of thinking up such plans as an invasion of Russia - he was brought into this plan once the CIA had it moving, and according to Alexander, Sirsky was also not imformed. (Not informed he was about to lose all his Western 'elite' forces until it started? :o ).

They wouldn't be the first NATO sheep-dipped 'knew too much' dead either, many 'mercenaries' were found dead in Mariupol (I think it was), fx.

Well written. I generally agree except about about the extent of the loss of agriculture market intelligence: U.S. farmers have access to an extensive network of formal and informal market information channels

If Russia & China don't share their data with western firms or countries- where will they get it?

If they have such good information why were American corn & soybean farmers caught off guard this year?

Sergej Polunin (35), who, among other things, is known for having Putin tattooed on his chest, has not given any clear reason why he wants to leave Russia - nor where he now wants to settle.

In a December 8 Telegram message, he urged Putin to negotiate to end the war and that "even the worst deal will be better than war."

- I hope for the humanity of the president of Russia, and if it is possible to have a normal professional conversation with Trump, wrote Polunin.

- It is better to show willingness and kindness yourself and start the negotiations.

Cut the bullshit. USA foreign policies made BRICS

You got me at 'greater food security,' I care about the US farming industry as much as it cared about the billions of farmers and people worldwide that it destroyed, including its own. Bring BRICS on, and more country hopefully will join it. However ,I fear, a new manufactured war or sn expanion of the current ones to prevent BRICS success

It will be interesting to see if this translates into lower food prices for the domestic US market.

Not likely, just higher profit margins for Cargill et al. You don't seem to understand the financialized economy and the object of corporations, to make as much money as possible. Look what happened during the COVID lockdowns. record profits!

All the big ones have left. Cargill, Viterra, Louis Dreyfus, Bunge, ADM.

Russia ain't sharing jack shit with American or western agencies.

They used to. Those days are over.

America destroyed its reputation. It will never get it back.

You don't realize or won't accept- the world has fundamentally changed. America & the west are openly & widely hated now. Trump will only make this worse with his arrogant American exceptionalism.

The world no longer needs America and America can no longer force countries to do as it demands.

Looks like also the Euro is living on borrowed time. Adding to this the energy crisis in Europe will become worse if Russia decides to stop supplying gas, oil and LNG, meaning that Putin can damage Europe much more than Trump can damage Russia with new sanctions, tariffs or any other economic measure. Europe is sitting now between a rock and a hard place.

Not really. BRICS is just a tool to counter poor US leadership. America has done all this to themselves.

US agricultural products should be avoided, there’s nothing nutritious about them. You can tell with how sick and obese Americans have become over the last 50 years.
