I dont think that (leaving the EU) is Hungary's intention. At least not under Orban's leadership.
Orban seems to be mainly out to chart a course of European countries being genuinely independent and non-aligned, and seeking to get the best deal from all camps in that way.
In the propaganda European media this gets him labeleld as "Putin-this" and "Putin-that" but actually he is simply seeking independence and respect for his country.
Seems to me Orban's goal is to coalesce a critical mass in the EU to adopt this approach of self-interest and balance rather than just vassalhood of one great power or the other.
