Another wonderful discussion of what I believe is WW3.

The pathology of the Military Industrial Congressional Complex blinds them to the reality that both China and Russia are undefeatable, bar laying waste with nuclear weapons, which would immolate industrial civilisation planet wide!

A nuclear winter would wipe out all crops!

My gut feeling is that we'll soon see a capitulation of the Ukranian military, a mutiny can't be far away!

Near the end of the Vietnam war, lots of young US officers from West Point were "Fragged" by their own forces rather than being flung into unwinnable and un-survivable combat.

Dr Carl Sagan spoke to congress in the 1980's on the implications of a nuclear winter!

I found Beebe's comments rather silly: Ukraine has fought valiantly! Russia is an autocracy! In essence he was spouting the same old neo colonial stuff that has sent thousands of Ukrainians to their deaths defending the Maidan regime that has NOTHING to do witth democracy. The Brics summit in Kazan has blasted the US run world by insisting on such things as the enlargement of the SC at theUN and the voting rights at the IMF. But as Pancho Villa said gringos are dangerous when cornered.

Ukraine democratically elected a leader who wanted balance between East and West, who was overthrown in a US-supported coup in 2014. Zelensky was elected by those in the East who wanted peace, but he was overruled by the oligarchs, Azov and the US. He is now an unelected leader who has banned and imprisoned opposition parties, media and even religions - he is a true dictator. There is no democracy in Ukraine.

Putin has been re-elected time and again, and completely independent surveys show him having 70%+ popular support. After nearly a decade of Ukrainian shelling of their own citizens in the Donbass, the Ukrainian-driven failures of Minsk 1 and Minsk 2, and then the greatly enhanced shelling as Ukrainian troops massed to ethnically cleanse the Donbass, Russia intervened.

The Ukie regime has had many years to indoctrinate the people into hating their Russian brothers and sisters, and that was reflected in the first couple of years of fighting. Now that is disappearing as more Ukrainians understand that they are being used as Western puppets by a Western controlled puppet dictator.

Russia will win and Ukrainians will be much better off for it, rather than exploited by Ukie and Western oligarchs.

He started off on a very wobbly tone, and i almost quit, but glad I didn't as he started making more sense later. Unsurprisingly, he never touched on that everything Russia was accused of, the West had as their own aims - the expansionism, fx.

But that was the main flaw, it was heartening to hear even the CIA has/had such an analyst within their ranks. Needless to say, I doubt Nuland ever called on his expertise and opinions, and nor has Biden.

Sadly concur that the "Europe" has written itself out of the game - especially the US-backed decision-makers even in charge of European countries (Like Kid Starver, Sholz, Mad EU Woman, Bearbock, BloJo), and that the US is where the make or break will come from.

We can only hope Stein or Trump comes through, and really is willing to talk.

Yeah... it gets better later. I almost quit in the first few minutes too. But he makes some good points later, and he was worth watching if you can stomach the mild Exceptionalism.

Agree. As the discussion went on, Beebe began making quite a few eye popping concessions given his role in US foreign policy for the past 35 years. I think this interview was a coup for Mercouris and Diesen. Just the fact that the seemingly impregnable U.S. neocon fortress sent an emissary to The Duran is remarkable!

Mild exceptionalism is tolerable. The US Constitution is second only to the Magna Carta in terms of political documents that have had positive effects rippling through the ages in all directions, far beyond what their authors could ever have imagined or expected.

The radical exceptionalism of the “indispensable nation” warmongers for peace, is intolerable. An obscenity of global proportions.
