Patriots are for defense against jets, not missiles, but the false narrative is firmly established. Army defines an “intercept” as the missiles passing each other in the sky. Actual kills that stop the warhead are much rarer. $$$

Hopefully, with your unveiling of the true facts regarding our present capabilities, we will be able to adopt a realistic attitude and dispel the present mythology.
So there are 3 possibilities: The interceptor misses completely, the interceptor hits the missile, the missile breaks apart and the warhead explodes on the ground. And the ideal hit at the top of the missile, followed by the detonation of the warhead in the sky. Postol rates the first two outcomes as unsuccessful and only the third as successful. The question is: Is the second outcome - a detonation of the warhead some distance away from the target area on the ground - a success or is it a failure?

It is obvious that you exemplify both maxims. In this "time of lies", it is all that more important that you continue your unbiased work. As you know, the attacks on you and your work, comes from the MIC, which values profit more than truth. And academic institutions that receive financial support from it, are less concerned with profit, but their existence.
While I do not question the nature of the deception (also the nefarious nature of the Patriot affair of the 1990s is beyond any doubt) - it would be really helpful if the videos would show not just the missiles but the interceptors too. How many are there in each example? Does Postol say?
I don't have time to go back and slow-mo but in the first instant it seemed like 4 or 6 Patriots launched one of which hit a missile. (Or was one light 2 Patriots?) Anyhow. That´d be more than 2%.
It would help to understand. Because out there we have e.g. Mike Mihajlovic who speaks of 50% for THAAD. While I assume that is way too high, a rate of 15% or 20% for PAC3 would be something different than 2%.

Apart of course from the fact that the documentation available is messy at best (since the good material is all kept under wraps unsurprisingly) and it´s extremely difficult to come up with any such assessment Postol provides us with.
