Although it is not an overnight transformation, i wonder if Lawrence Wilkerson and his farming friends and family are familiar with "Shumei", the Japanese natural agriculture:
In UK on the Shumei land they grow food WITHOUT fertilisers or manure, only some compost, and they have got a larger yield than organic farmers using animal manure.
They don't rotate crops either and leave the companion plants to grow together with the crops. In Japan their corn is storms resistant and the energetic content of the food measurably higher. Their crops are at large more resilient and resistant to diseases too.
One of the keys to achieve this is in keeping the seeds from the land where one grows the food and then replant them in the same spot.
I have been at a day workshop in Yatesbury where they explained that the soil get richer every year because, I guess through the mycelium network, the plants attract the ideal kind of nourishment needed to the area.
There is an adjustment period of 5 years after which the companion plants grow extensively with the initial crop, bringing a symbiotic balance.
Independent agencies have analysed their soil over a long period and confirmed the theory.
As I have just added on the post, unfertilised plants become more resilient and diseases resistant too.
The modern farming is based on fertilizers and then pesticides to protect weak specimens: it creates other lucrative businesses too... Plus weak human immune systems, which please the pharmaceutic corporations.
It's a poisonous loop.

Consider the mineral content taken from the soil with every crop. Either you are replacing that or you are soil-mining.
