The F-35 refuelling problem proves that not just the US but also the UK France and Germany were aware of the attack plans in advance and had been prepared to participate. This was an undeclared war against Iran on behalf of Israel, by 4 NATO countries without any consultation, let alone any authority, from their elected legislatures.
When you consider that it was less than 3 years ago when Nord Stream was blown up. Some Chinese official commented at the time that it had been inconceivable that the civilian infrastructure of a permanent member of the UN Security Council could be attacked without a declaration of war. How things have changed. Two weeks ago part of Russia’s strategic nuclear force was attacked, now Israel attacks civilian nuclear infrastructure in Iran in an undeclared war.
We’ll be very lucky if this thing does not escalate. If it does not it will be because of the adults in the room, Russia and China.
