I’ve read that many top Iranian officials did not want the attacks on Israel to end. And why should they? It would have been within the law, and within reason, to pummel the Zionist state until they agreed to end their killing and allow full aid to enter Gaza. Enforcing this would have been a separate problem of course. But if the Houthi’s can bring International shipping to its knees, then solutions don’t seem to be impossible.
As always, I’m aware of the Sampson option, holding the whole world hostage.
