I had a conversation with Alexander Mercouris and Alastair Crooke - a former British diplomat, negotiator and political advisor. The Israeli government under Netanyahu could collapse and Israel’s reputation in the world is tatters. Hamas appears victorious and Palestinian civilians are marching back to the ruins in northern Gaza, which results in Israelis asking what the war was all about. Netanyahu cannot break the ceasefire without being held accountable for stopping the release of Israeli hostages, who appeared to have been treated relatively well by Hamas according to recent videos. Politicians within Western states that supported the genocide are weakened, and Israel’s adversaries are enraged.
