I had the great pleasure of being on Judging Freedom with Judge Napolitano to discuss the end of the American Empire. After decades of pursuing global primacy, the US has exhausted its resources and incentivised other great powers to balance the US collectively. For this exact reason, the US was traditionally an off-shore balancer seeking to avoid a physical presence on the Eurasian continent. There is at least a need to scale back and prioritise focus on the Western Hemisphere and Asia. This implies that Europe will no longer be a priority, which is a key reason why Trump wants to get the US out of Ukraine. After years of subservience, the Europeans are now building up political courage to reduce reliance on the US - although the key motivation is to continue the war in Ukraine. Realistically, there is no NATO without America as the main military power and European pacifier.

I have said since before the election, Trump had the easiest Off Ramp. Claim Elensky is totally corrupt and has stolen too much. End of story walk, no run away from this hot mess.
Instead Trump again falls victim to a ridiculous ego. These people who have been given Trump's ear are winning, Trump's people did a great initial job of laying out the truth. Suddenly with each day you can tell someone is bending Trump to the NeoCon way. It is a nightmare for every American who just wanted Trump to stop funding this war. The US will not receive 1 stinking dime of Ukrainian "rare earth's" LOL
the US has exhausted its resources and incentivised other great powers to balance the US collectively. Why empires fall by John Rapley and Peter Heather is a good read, and seems to be coming eerily true.
