I had the pleasure to speak with Seyed Mohammad Marandi, a professor, an analyst and advisor to Iran's nuclear negotiation team. Prof. Marandi discusses Iran's rejection of Trump's ultimatum and the possible nuclear escalation.
Prof. Marandi addresses the US ultimatum of accepting its deal or be attacked. Prof. Marandi argues that the US cannot be trusted to uphold any agreements after pulling out of the JCPOA nuclear agreement in the past, and that US demands are too excessive to be even considered. Prof. Marandi argues the US is not in a position to launch a successful war against Iran, and believes that it is important to reject Trump’s ultimatum. Yet, Marandi does recognise that this may lead to a devastating war.
Ironically, the US would back off immediately if Iran openly testfired a nuke warhead, and then stated they had several more in reserve.
This isn't really about Iran getting a nuke, but because they don't have some already.
Of course, the Israeli Zionist extremists would love it if DC got wiped off the map in a retal, it would save them one of their own warheads in the Sampson Option.
Everyone can see what happened to Libya once Gaddhafi trusted the West.
Very interesting to read and listen to this article. And I'm on the same line too. What President Donald Trump is doing now probably can lead the world into tragedy and perhaps even Worse. Prof. Glenn Diesen is a highly recommended person to follow, because of his wisdom and knowledge in such areas.
