EU has Zero chances against Russian military might. The Clowns at the head of EU are incapable of facing Russia but they try poking the bear to send their youth to die for the coocoo "leaders" in Brussels.

People, it is time to put that vonleyden, kallas, merz and the english sausage down, burry them in history as the mistakes they are.

Definitely an Al Buddy opinion.

That should have read “definitely an Al Bundy opinion”.

The Finnish SAR satellites (70 +) supporting Ukraine/NATO giving very sharp and accurate eyes to the Ukrainian drones and rockets are something Russians have to deal with. If Russia is able to bring most of them down this will be catastrophic to NATO and of course to Ukraine.

Moebius Infinity's avatar

And they have warmonger musk net as well

2033ICP's avatar

They might try to take down all of them of course but it could be used as leverage against the US after taking down the Finnish as a warning.

Moebius Infinity's avatar

Finland should add double use and run a service for humans.

This way average people can see it happen. And they may choose to leave it alone? Perhaps

That and/or Starlink. I find it hard to believe that Musk has disabled Starlink in Russia.

I think that even the threat, communicated to Musk, that Russia will start taking them out kinetically, and hence starting a whole cascade of orbital debris would be enough to make Musk turn them off.

That same debris cloud is the reason nobody is doing it yet. Once you open that Pandora’s box, the consequences could end up polluting large swathes of space around Earth and make all future missions much more dangerous. We’d essentially box ourselves in, possibly for thousands of years…

Luckily not my decision to make.

The microwave weapons are coming. Zap them from the ground, no debris, just expensive, orbiting space junk. China already has one of those deployed, Russia possibly as well, although no confirmed use yet as far as I can tell.

In addition to 76 Finnish ICEYE satellites, Ukrainians have access to at least 10 from Vantor/Maxar, 200 from Planet Labs, 4 from Black Sky, undisclosed number from Capella Space, and 10 from Umbra. All of that is in addition to Musk's fleet.

The moment that any of those are threatened and/or taken out is the moment that will change the way that wars are fought.

2033ICP's avatar

Then it’s a matter of time when being used as long as wars keep escalating with no real strategy than winning the war at all costs.

That's the way it goes, war is an extension of politics by other means. They're faught until either side runs out of will to fight, or the means to fund it, or the people to throw into it.

The world order is changing because the West no longer has the human, economic or military capital it had to dominate the world for the last +/- 500 years. But no power relinquishes control voluntarily.

So we are now, unfortunately, in the pre-nuclear phase of WWIII. Hopefully it will not go nuclear, but it's still very much a reality.

The fighting will continue until the old order recognises the legitimacy of the new one, even if it takes some dead satellites and space debris to get there.

The greatest irony of this war is the extent to which Europe and the West do not understand that Putin - the baby-killing, child-stealing, Hitler incarnate, as he is portrayed - is the only thing standing in the way of serious retaliation against Europe.

His inner circle, his government, and now increasingly the public, have all been pushing for strong retaliation against the Ukrainian rear (read Europe). Putin is the only moderate force, preferring to project economic stability, avoiding escalation, and leaving open the door to diplomacy. But his moderation is misinterpreted as a sign of weakness and a license for ever more brazen strikes. So now it is starting to cost him, and the pressure is growing.

The only question is whether it will be too little, too late when the retaliation comes. Will it be enough to re-establish deterrence and the red lines, or will it be the spark for rapid escalation?

I think the motto should remain as it always has been - what happens in Ukraine, stays in Ukraine. I'm not convinced that we can return to that without sparking a hot WWIII.

and to say that Europe is the cradle of western civilisation and intelligence, from where or from who did they get the idea and survival need to go to war with Russia, it’s a lunatic idea in fact it’s pure Nihilism, and wasn’t that idea also not foreign to Europe?

I say it's the Ukraine bonds . need them to disappear . than the 300billion stolen from Russia all the land Black Rock Jews bought in Ukraine get nothing . that's really the problem

Feeling sorry for Putin?

How annoying to invade Crimea in 2014, and when people complain, you invade them again eight years later in 2022. But this time it doesn’t work and the naughty Ukrainians fight back, and do a pretty good job of it. And then you send your criminal mate, who runs catering in the Kremlin, down to finish the job and he screws up! And 4 years go by and none of your fat generals with bad haircuts seems able to sort it: you’re pretty much out of men, ideas and equipment and the sobs are taking out your refineries and bombing the local Amazon warehouses.

Where, oh where, did you go wrong?

What can you do to make it stop?

Perhaps people think you are the problem… do you see them whispering out of earshot? Worrying.

Difficult to listen to an American talking about Europeans only as puppets. Even these so called experts still feel so entitled. It is so unbearable. For Americans the world is a chess board. They don’t see humans. Completely incapable.

Why are we not allowed to vote in the US? These are our politicians as well. We should at least have a right to vote.

Macgregor has no “sources”; he has a big mouth whose opinions are never challenged. He is allowed to ramble on with his diatribe in supporting the Kremlin. Go figure. What a fraud.

Herb Maier's avatar

It is not difficult to surmise that Macgregor’s toast is buttered by the Kremlin. What a POS. Slava Ukraine you fucking turd.

Always so much knowledge and insight from Colonel McGregor. Thanks for this interview. He is, as he’s always been, spot on.

Macgregor’s statements are just one man’s opinion and full of holes. Slava Ukraine you horses ass!
