Anatol Lieven: "Act of War" - EU Piracy and Blockade Against Russia
Anatol Lieven and Glenn Diesen
Anatol Lieven is the Director of the Eurasia Program at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, and recently published an article "Ukraine war Europe's risky war on Russia's 'shadow fleet'": https://responsiblestatecraft.org/russia-shadow-fleet/ Seizing Russian ships in international waters will trigger a powerful response from Russia. Yet, the Europeans seem unaware of the consequences as they believe they are already at war with Russia.
It’s mind boggling to me that we can make the the trains run on time but when it comes to things that should be much easier to achieve, like avoiding war, we fail miserably.
And of course the EU leaders deceive their people that the EU, in contrast to what they call lawless, autocratic countries like Russia, stands for law, justice and democracy.
Thus the European people must be hopelessly ignorant, since they don't respond critically.
Well, the EU has silenced critical voices by consequently calling the pro- Russians, but come on. Are there no intelligence out there?
