Dear Aaron and Glenn: thank you so much for this discussion on the link between “Russia-gate” and the Russia/Ukraine/NATO war, along with the recent bombings of Russian strategic bombers by Ukrainian forces and the implications for us all. I am an American with strong ties to Russia and the former Soviet Union for which I have been “red-baited” for most of my youth. I was horrified by the breakup of the Soviet Union as well as by the death of Stephen Cohen, whose writings I followed meticulously in the “Nation,” as they gave me a way of orienting my political views in the changing US relationship to Russia and the world.
